MediaAgent Summary

Use this window to display a summary of the MediaAgent.

General

This section displays the following information:

• Status of the MediaAgent and, if not operational, the failure reason and since when it has not been operational
• Interface name
• Operating System
• The amount of data written and read using the MediaAgent in the last week
• MediaAgent version and service pack
• MediaAgent installation date and time

This section also displays the total number of libraries and drives configured in the MediaAgent along with information on the numbers of libraries and drives that are not operational. When libraries and/or drives are not operational, a Not Operational hyperlink is displayed.

MediaAgent Utilization

This section provides the trend for the amount of data written and read in the MediaAgent over a period of time. This data can be viewed using daily, weekly, or monthly frequency based on the selected frequency period.

This section will help you to determine if there is a sudden growth or fall in the amount of data being written to the MediaAgent for the selected frequency period.
