Media Management Drive Report
Use this report to obtain status information for the drives in the
selected CommCell(s). Running this report can be useful for troubleshooting your
CommCell environment. The report can be based on the Physical Drives or Drive
Controllers in the CommCell(s). It provides you with detailed information
regarding drive status, such as whether or not it is active,
operational, or even if it has failed, which then includes the failure reason.
Status information for this report includes the following:
Report Based on Physical Drives
Physical Drives
This chart displays the number of all physical drives (including the
mountpaths) and whether they are operational (percentages and numbers displayed in a pie
chart).
Drives
This table contains the status information for the selected CommCell's
drives.
- The name of the library where the drive physically resides
- The name of the drive
- The status of the drive and, if not operational, the failure
reason and since when it has been not operational (percentages and numbers shown in a pie
chart)
- The assigned cost category
- The manufacturer rated throughput of the drive in GB/hour
- The drive's manufacturer, model, type, serial number, and firmware revision
Mountpaths
This table contains the status information for the selected CommCell's
mountpaths.
- The name of the library associated with the mountpath
- The name of the mountpath
- The status of the mountpath and, if not operational, the failure reason
and since when it has been not operational
