CommNet Summary

Use this window to display a summary of the entire CommNet domain.

General

This section displays the following information:

• The name of the user that is logged on to the current CommNet Server
• Interface name
• Operating system
• Local time on the CommNet Server
• The date and time the user last logged on to the current CommNet Server
• CommNet Server version and service pack
• CommNet Server installation date and time
• CommNet Server time zone

You can also view:

• A list of users logged in to the CommNet Server by clicking the Users logged in hyperlink which displays the User Status list.
• The number of CommCells that are not reachable from the CommNet Server, if there are any. You can obtain a list of CommCells that are unreachable by clicking the Not Reachable hyperlink which displays the CommCell Status list.
• A list of hardware guidelines by clicking the Hardware upgrade recommended for <n> CommCells hyperlink, if a hardware upgrade is recommended.

Clients

This section provides a quick view of the total number of clients (and their status) in the domain. You can also obtain a list of clients that are unreachable by clicking the Not Reachable hyperlink.

Storage Resources

This section provides a quick view of all the storage resources (and their status) in the domain. You can also obtain a list of MediaAgents, Libraries or drives that are not operational by clicking the respective hyperlinks.

Schedule Forecast

This section provides a list of full data protection operations that are scheduled in the next 24 hours in all the CommCells.
