Add Oracle Database

Required Capability: See Capabilities and Permitted Actions

  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand the client computers and select SRM Oracle Proxy client and right-click the Oracle (proxy) node then select Add Oracle Database.

    OR

    From the CommCell Browser,  right click the client computers node and select New Client, then select SRM Oracle Database and click OK, Add Oracle Database dialog will appear.

  2. In the Add Oracle Database dialog box, make appropriate entries and click OK.
note.gif (292 bytes) You can add a Database to SRM Oracle Agent only if it is installed on a Windows machine.

  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand the client computers, then expand the SRM Oracle Agent, right click the Oracle Database whose credentials you want to edit, click All Tasks and select Credentials.
  2. In the Credentials dialog box, make any changes and click OK.
