You can recover the CommServe using the following method:

Infrastructure Recovery

The following steps outline the process involved in recovering the CommServe:

1. Restore the CommServe database dump using the CommServe Disaster Recovery Tool. See Restore the CommServe Database for step-by-step instructions.

   After selecting the options to restore the database dump, do the following:

   • Change the name of the CommServe (if required). If the name is different, it is also recommended to update the DNS.
   • Activate the License (if required)
   • Perform Post-Recovery Operations
2. Rebuild the production CommServe. See Rebuild the CommServe for step-by-step instructions.

   As a part of the CommServe restore, information on all the components in the CommCell will also be restored. Hence these components (although not physically present) will be displayed in the CommCell Console.
