Partitioned Libraries

This page describes the options that must be enabled for partitioned libraries. (Also referred to as a logical library, or a virtual library.)

Some libraries can be partitioned to operate independently of the physical library. The subset behaves as though it were its own physical library, using only drives and slots assigned to that logical library on its creation. e.g., ADIC I2000, etc. Such libraries may share mail slots which are shared between the partitions.

The following options must be enabled in the Advanced tab of the Library Properties dialog box:

See Library Properties (Advanced) page for a detailed description of these options.
