| The CVOutlookAddin.adm custom administrative template file can be
used to push registry key settings out to client computers to configure
the Outlook Add-In installation, using Active
Directory Group Policy. This administrative template file should be deployed in conjunction with the Outlook Add-In installation package. |

Usage |

1. Set the package to be installed via GPO 2. Get the latest copy of CVADMTemplate.adm from Resource Pack 3. Load the custom ADM file into the administrative templates for the domain controller 4. Open up Active Directory Users and Computers MMC and expand either User or Computer Settings. 5. Right-click Administrative Templates and select Add/Remove Templates. 6. You will see a list of currently installed policy templates. Click Add. 7. Select the CVADMTemplate.adm policy template and click Open. The template will be added and appear in the list. 8. Click on View and select Filtering. Remove the checkmark next to Only show policy settings that can be fully managed and then click OK to save and exit. 9. Expand Administrative Templates and you will see a folder called CommVault Outlook Add-in settings. 10. Expand this folder and we will see all of the outlook add-in options 11. Set the value for each option to your desired setting. UIOptions Settings: Start with zero (0) and sum up all of the values for the options that you want to include. Value Description 3 Show the migration list menu options/buttons 4 Show the prompt before recovery menu 8 Hide browse/search migrated data menu 32 Hide erase migrated data menu 64 Enable Local Migration Notes: The registry key updates are pushed out to remote machines at a periodic rate of ninety minutes. Microsoft also indicates that there could also be a two hour offset on top of the ninety minutes. |
