Description

This tool will set all spare media erasable for the specified scratch pool of a given library.

Usage

  1. Run the CommServer Recovery Tool before running this utility.
  2. Copy setSpareMediaErasable into the <GalaxyHome>\Base folder on the CommServe.
  3. From a command line, run the utility using the following syntax:
    setSpareMediaErasable -library [libraryName] -scratchPool [scratchPoolName]
  4. Check error and information messages in setSpareMediaErasable.log located under galaxy/log files.
