Overwrite Data during Data Recovery Operations

Before You Begin:

• Review the Overwrite Options topic prior to selecting any overwrite options.

Required Capability: See Capabilities and Permitted Actions

To overwrite data during data recovery operations:

1. Begin any data recovery procedure. See Basic Restore or Browse and Restore for step-by-step instructions.
2. Select the desired overwrite options in the Restore/Recovery Options dialog box along with any other restore/recovery options you would like to use.

   Note that not all overwrite options are available for all Agents. See Overwrite Options - Support for information on the overwrite options supported for your Agent.

3. Continue your data recovery procedure.
