Firmware & flash utilities for LSI MegaRAID SAS 9261-8i

Firmware and utilities to flash on line the LSI MegaRAID SAS 9261-8i adapter. Firmware version: LSI-12.14.0-0167

The procedure to update the firmware of the LSI MegaRAID SAS 9261-8i adapter is embedded in the package.

NOTE: If the 9261 controller contains an older firmware 2.70.03-0862 (firmware package 12.7.0-0007).
When flashing to the latest available 9261 firmware, you will see an error message similar to this:

Download Completed.
Flashing image to adapter...
Firmware Failed to FLASH flash. Stop!!!
FW error description:
The requested command cannot be completed as the image is corrupted.
Exit Code: 0x13

The work around is to flash to an interim version of firmware first, such as 12.12.0-0073. You will then be able to flash to the latest available firmware.
