Dust has a harmful effect on the proper operation of computers and their environment. For this reason, the floor should be cleaned every day using a damp cloth (see "Checks and Alarms").
Polish or wax should never be used because they can damage the anti-static qualities of the floor covering (slabs of raised floor).
The raised floor and the suspended ceiling should be cleaned completely once a year by a specialist company.
Computing rooms should comply with the specifications of Class 4 000 000 of standard NF X44-101 "classification of contamination by solid particles", dated June 1981. |
