- On site environmental check and electric connectivity
Read the generic site preparation documentation in order to get general recommendation about environmental conditions and electric connectivity.
Read the safety notices in order to get a comprehensive view of safety instructions.

Read the Installation documentation in order to review:
- Server unpacking
- Server mount and connection instructions
- Server configuration
First read the release notes associated to the latest firmware version. They contain important information that is not available in the documentation.
Read the Getting started documentation in order to review:
- How to connect to the server
- OS installation instructions
- Network connectivity and IP allocation and setup
- Power management
- Server monitoring options
- Firmware update instructions
- IPMI out of band management instruction
In order to get a bit more advanced configuration guide, read the Hardware Management Console documentation in order to review:
- How to connect to the management console
- How to monitor the server
- How to control server power management
- How to configure the server (IP, DNS, WIFI ...)
- How to check and upgrade the firmware
- How to secure server access (user and SSL certificate management)
For BullSequana Edge only, read the Management Console documentation in order to review server management using MISM (Machine Intelligence System Management), an Atos product to automate software deployment (with a set of Ansible playbooks) and server monitoring (using Zabbix templates).
