Which Module Management Firmware for which Bull Blade Chassis ?

To find out what version of firmware has to be downloaded, it is necessary to know the chassis type.

The Blade chassis are identified by their Product Code.
To identify what is the type of your chassis, please, refer to the "Management Modules" item, in the Hardware VPD menu.

Bull Blade Chassis - Standard (7U)

• The chassis delivered until end of June 2006 are equipped with CMM1.
  their Product Code  is SBCECMM
•  The chassis delivered after June 2006 are equipped with CMM2 or AMM (generation 1).
  their Product Code is SBCECMM2

Bull Blade Chassis - Standard (7U) and Enterprise (9U)

• The most recent chassis are equipped with AMM (generation 2)
  Their Product Code is 43W3487

Current Blade CMM Firmware Package

The current Blade CMM Firmware Package is the version 86I (build BREO86I - rev. 16)

This package have to be installed only on chassis 7U with Product Code = SBCECMM

Transition Blade CMM Firmware Package - build BREO73I - rev. 16

The version 73I (build BREO73I - rev. 16 ) is a transition version mandatory when you update from version older than 73I to the current one.
You will have to update first to 73I version and then install the current version.
At the end of the second update the Boot ROM firmware will stay in 73I version.
