Issue - Description - Facts

Server crashes with error BSOD 0x0000009C for Windows or ?machine check? for Linux when CPU load is high.

Cause

Bad timing set by BIOS for CPU Xeon 5400 series.

Resolution

BIOS update to version 0094 included in BOOT_CD 1.0.20 or more. No need to swap CPU.
