Add NAS Filer

Before you Begin:
- You must ensure that the client computer with the NAS Proxy Agent can communicate with the NAS File Server that you add using the procedure below, or any operations you attempt for the NAS File Server using the
SRM NAS Agent will fail.

To Add a NAS File
server to a NAS Agent:
- From the CommCell Browser, expand the client computers, then right-click the SRM
NAS Agent, click All Tasks and select Add NAS Filer.
- In the
Add NAS Filer dialog box, make all required entries and click
OK.

SRM NAS Agent will fail.

To Edit the Credentials of an Existing NAS File Server:
- From the CommCell Browser, expand the client computers, then expand the
SRM NAS Agent, right click the NAS Filer you want to edit, click All
Tasks and select Credentials.
- In the
Add NAS Filer Credentials dialog box, make
the required changes and click OK.

To Remove a NAS Filer from
SRM NAS Agent:

You must first
De-Configure the SRM NAS Agent in order to remove the NAS Filer
associated with it. |
- From the CommCell Browser, expand the client computers, then expand the SRM
NAS Agent, right click the NAS Filer you want to remove and select
Delete.
- In the Warning dialog box, click OK.
