During a content indexing operation, there are chances that few files do not get content indexed due to various reasons. You can view the list of skipped files, along with the reason for skipping, in a system generated .xml file under the following location in the Admin node:
<Software installation path>\iDataAgent\JobResults\CV_JobResults\iDataAgent\ContentIndexing\<JobID>\
When you restart the Content Indexing Engine in the admin node, make sure that you restart the Content Indexing Services on all the nodes as follows:
To stop the services, logon to the individual node and from the Start menu click All Programs, Content Indexing Engine 4.0., and then click Content Indexing Engine - Stop.
To start the services, logon to the individual node and from the Start menu click All Programs, Content Indexing Engine 4.0., and then click Content Indexing Engine - Start.
