Overview

If the Silo Archiver option is selected from the Job Summary Report Selection dialog box, the Silo Archive Job Summary Report will be created. The Silo Archive Job Summary Report displays details for archive jobs that moves deduplicated backup from the primary disk to secondary storage media. Silo Storage reduces the secondary storage requirements, and frees up the primary storage for more current storage requirements.

Usage

This report is useful if you require:

• A summary of silo archive jobs for each client.
• To view all silo archive jobs during a specified time period.
• Detailed silo archive information such as:
  • The total silo archive jobs run per client.
  • The duration (transfer time) of the job.
  • The total objects that are protected or failed.
  • The size of the job.
  • The backup set and subclient of the job.
  • The failure reason (if necessary), and associated events.
  • The failed objects (if necessary), and the files that were successfully archived.
  • The options that were selected for the job before the job was run.
  • The status of the job, and the throughput unit.
