Storage Policy Report

Overview

The Storage Policy Report provides information about the storage policies and associated subclients based on the selected filter criteria.

This report is useful if you require:

A list of storage policy properties information.
Related application and client information that is associated with each storage policy.
Associated user groups with rights to change retention periods.
The secondary copies configured for each storage policy, the retention rules of each copy, and the subclient associations of each copy.
Data path information including the MediaAgent, library, master drive pool, and drive pool.
When a storage policy copy job has data aging disabled.
Data retention definition information.
Indication of data amount not copied per media per storage policy.
De-Duplication information per storage policy. This includes the size of the backup and size of media, which is the space occupied on the media after compression and deduplication.
The amount of deduplicated data per store that has been moved to a Silo Store for long-term retention as displayed in the Silo Archived Data column; the amount of deduplicated data per store to be moved to a Silo Store before it is moved offsite in the Not Silo Archived Data column; the Job ID that is retaining a particular Silo Store from aging in the Highest Retention Job column.
