To
add thresholds for reports:
- In the CommCell Browser, expand Reports and SRM Report
Manager.
- Right click Threshold Manager and click Add.
- In the
Add SRM Report Threshold dialog box, enter a unique name for this
Threshold.
- In the Type list, select a report and click Next.
- On
Thresholds and Notification Criteria Selection window select an Alert
Criteria Type and Match Type.
- Click Add.
- In the Add/Edit Filter dialog box, select a Column and an Operator,
and enter a Value.

While adding multiple conditions for Threshold
Alerts, you can choose Logical Operators "AND" or "OR" to perform the
desired logical operations between the listed conditions. The final
operator selected is applied across all the conditions thereby allowing
the use of only one Logical Operator for specifying conditions on
Thresholds for SRM Reports. |
- Click OK.
- Perform Steps 7 through 9 for each Threshold Condition that you
want to add to this SRM Threshold and click Next.
- Under
Notification Type Selection dialog, select a Type.
- Select Email/Pager for Notification, and click the Add
Token option to customize the subject and body of the e-mail or
pager message.
- Select SNMP for Notification and click the Add Token
option to customize the subject and body of the alert.
- Select Event Viewer for Notification and click the Add
Token option to customize the subject and body of the alert.
- Select Run Command and configure it with arguments. Click
Change option to change the account information to access the
network share.
- Click Next to continue.
- In the
User(s) and User(s) Group select the user(s) and user(s) group who will
receive alerts and click Next.
- In the
Summary dialog box view the options that were selected for the alert and
click Finish.

To
edit an existing threshold for reports:
- In the CommCell Browser, expand Reports and SRM Report
Manager.
- In the Threshold Manager window, select an existing threshold,
and click Edit.
- In the
Add SRM Report Threshold dialog box, change any of the values.
- In the Type list, select a report and click Next.
- On
Thresholds and Notification Criteria Selection window select an Alert
Criteria Type and Match Type.
- Click Add.
- In the Add/Edit Filter dialog box, select a Column and an Operator,
and enter a Value.

To clone an existing
threshold for reports:
- In the CommCell Browser, expand Reports and SRM Report
Manager.
- In the Threshold Manager window, select an existing Threshold,
and click Clone.
- In the
Add SRM Report Threshold dialog box will be an exact duplicate of that
Threshold. Change any of the values as detailed in the procedures for
Add Thresholds for Reports, and
click Finish.

To
delete an existing threshold for reports:
- In the CommCell Browser, expand Reports and SRM Report
Manager.
- In the Threshold Manager window, select an existing Threshold,
and click Delete.
- Click Yes to confirm.
