The following table provides the released versions of the Calypso® installer in this release.

Note that the latest released version is cumulative, including all features/products/platforms that were available in prior released versions. For example, if you have the most recent released version and the feature/product/platform you are looking for was made available in a prior released version, the latest released version will also include the feature/product/platform.

  • Install Software from CommCell Console is now supported for sudo users.

December, 2011

Includes Service Pack 4B and December Update Pack.

The following additional features are available:

  • Install Software from CommCell Console for SRM, Data Classification Enabler, Novell Directory Services, OES, GroupWise and ContinuousDataReplicator now works on Unix platforms like AIX 7.1.
  • Quick Recovery is now available in Unix package.
  • Restore only agents option is now supported during silent install.

November, 2011

Includes Service Pack 4A.

The following additional features are available:

  • Install Software from CommCell Console does not support existing Subclient Policy associations.
  • Decoupled Installs are now supported for RegisterMe.

October, 2011

Includes Service Pack 4.

The following additional features are available:

  • An option to skip the client group creation during installation is now available for VCS clusters.
  • Silent installation is now supported for Restore Only Clients.
  • Custom Package now provides a facility to save CommCell credentials.
  • Updates may be skipped during virtual machine installation.

July, 2011

Includes Service Pack 3.

The following additional features are available:

  • Laptop Backup enhancements for Macintosh:
    • Native Macintosh install provides the location of logs.
    • Backup Monitor tool for Macintosh shortcut is now added to the dock on each login.
  • Unix Agents can now successfully install on Debian 6.0.1a.
  • Solaris 1-Touch Server package install no recognize the update number of Solaris 10 operation system.
  • 1-Touch iDataAgent now successfully installs on Solaris 10 update 7.
  • 1-Touch recover is now successful for jumpstart server of Solaris 10 Update 9.
  • Client now gets booted after Phase 1 recover, when Solaris 10 update 9 jumpstart server is used to recover a older version client with zfs on root.
  • When VCS cluster fails over, services are no longer suspended on active node.
  • New Object Link package is available.

May, 2011

Includes Service Pack 2A.

The following additional features are available:

  • The Solaris File System iDataAgent now successfully installs on a Solaris VERITAS Cluster.
  • Services are no longer suspended on clients from which a package was uninstalled from the CommCell Console.
  • Firewall binaries are now packaged with 64-bit platforms.
  • Cluster tunnels now successfully failover in a cluster firewall environment.

April, 2011

Includes Service Pack 2.

The following additional features are available:

  • Service Packs and Post Packs are reduced to each Unix operating system variant with Reduced Package Creator.
  • Reduced and Native Package installs are now supported on 64-bit.
  • Unix groups and user access is now recorded.
  • Data Classification installations are now supported with File System installations.

March, 2011

The following additional features are available:

  • Network Throttling enhancements.

February, 2011

The following additional features are available:

  • The latest InstallUpdates and RemoveUpdates patches are included.
  • Native packages for RPM, Debian, and Solaris have been removed from DVD 31.
  • Existing ReadMes have been updated.
  • A new Custom Package creator is available for:
    • ATP
    • RPM
    • Macintosh
    • SD-UX
    • Solaris
  • 32-bit Silent Push Installs will now fail if a 64-bit package already exists.
  • Support for zLinux with Oracle and DB2 is included.
  • Updates to SourceMage Linux distribution are included.
  • Updates for 1-Touch for Linux is included, as well as an added ReadMe.
  • Installs to Base0 will now fail if Lotus Notes Database iDataAgent is installed.
