Browse the Latest Data

The following procedure can be used to browse the latest data using the Lotus Notes Client Add-In.

To browse the latest data:

  1. From the Lotus Notes Client application's Actions menu, select Find and Restore Mail.
  2. From the Browse Options dialog box, click OK to execute the browse using the Browse the Latest Data option.

Browse Data Before a Specified Time

The following procedure can be used to browse data before a specified time using the Lotus Notes Client Add-In.

To browse data between a specified time:

  1. From the Lotus Notes Client application's Actions menu, select Find and Restore Mail.
  2. From the Browse Options dialog box, select the Specify Browse Time option and then select the date and time to which you wish to view the data in the browse window.
  3. Change the time zone for the specified date and time, if necessary.
  4. Click OK in the Browse Options dialog box to execute the browse.

Browse Data Between a Specified Time

The following procedure can be used to browse data between a specified time using the Lotus Notes Client Add-In.

To browse data between a specified time:

  1. From the Lotus Notes Client application's Actions menu, select Find and Restore Mail.
  2. From the Browse Options dialog box, select the Specify Browse Time option and then select the date and time to which you wish to view the data in the browse window.
  3. Change the time zone for the specified date and time, if necessary.
  4. Click the Advanced button.
  5. In the Advanced Browse Options dialog box select the Exclude Data Before option and then select the date and time from which you wish to view the data in the browse window.
  6. Click OK in the Advanced Browse Options dialog box.
  7. Click OK in the Browse Options dialog box to execute the browse.

Recover Messages

This procedure can be used to recover messages using the Lotus Notes Client Add-In.

  1. From the Lotus Notes Client application's Actions menu, select Find and Restore Mail.
  2. Run a browse operation. See the Browse procedures above for step-by-step instructions.
  3. From the Browse window, select the message(s) that you want to recover, then click Recover All Selected.
  4. From the Recover Options for All Selected Items (General) dialog box, perform the following tasks as applicable for your agent:
  5. Click OK.

Once the recovery operation has completed, the message(s) will appear in the location specified.


Enable Offline Archiving on a Subclient

The following procedure can be used to enable Offline Archiving on a subclient.

Before You Begin

Required Capability: See Capabilities and Permitted Actions

  1. From the CommCell Browser, right-click the desired subclient, and then click Properties from the shortcut menu.
  2. From the Archive Rules | Stub Rules tab in the Subclient Properties dialog box, select the Offline Archive checkbox, and then click OK.

Configure Offline Archive Options

The following procedure can be used to configure Offline Archive Options from the Lotus Notes client application.

  1. Log on to your Lotus Notes client mailbox.
  2. From the Actions menu, select Change Offline Archive Options.
  3. Select the desired pruning options:
  4. Click OK.

    A dialog box appears asking if you would like to archive messages that are marked for archiving.


Recover Messages Archived Offline

This procedure can be used to recover messages that were archived offline.

  1. From the Lotus Notes Client mailbox, locate the original message's stub. This stub will be located in the same folder from which the original message was archived.
  2. Double-click the original message's stub.

    The original message will be displayed and returned to the folder where the message's stub resides.
