CommNet Browser has Lost the Connection with the CommNet Server

CommNet Browser Cannot be Closed after Failover

CommNet Browser has Lost the Connection with the CommNet Server

The CommNet Browser session may be disconnected due to idle time

See Modify the CommNet Browser Timeout Interval for step-by-step instructions on modifying the idle time.

To reconnect, go to the File menu and then click Login.

In the Login dialog box, enter your password.

The CommNet Server Service may not be running

When the CommNet Browser loses connection with the CommNet Server Service, it will automatically try to reconnect to the service five times at 1 minute intervals. The status bar displays a Yellow icon to indicate the browser status. If you see this Yellow icon, simply wait until the status bar displays a Green icon. If however, the status bar displays the Red icon, restart the CommNet Services as described in Start Services on Windows and then reconnect the CommNet Browser as described above.

CommNet Browser Cannot be Closed after Failover

During the failover, the CommNet Browsers that are connected to the CommNet server are disconnected and then reconnected. With this, the browsers may not close since the jar files are not accessible on the shared disk. The CommNet Browser can be closed using the Windows Task Manager.
