A Master Drive Pool consists of drive pool(s) within a single library. A Master Drive Pool is a logical entity that is used to facilitate the sharing of a library’s drives between multiple MediaAgents.
You can modify the following Master Drive Pool properties:

A Drive Pool is a set of drives which are attached or accessible to a MediaAgent. Like the Master Drive Pools, drive pools are also logical entities used to facilitate the sharing of a library’s drives between multiple MediaAgents.
You can modify the following Drive Pool properties:
This can be used to uniquely identify a drive pool.
Use this option to activate or deactivate the drive pool.
Use these options to assign all or some of the drives in the library to the drive pool.

NAS Load-Balancing - The Drive Pools, Storage Policies, and Subclients for NAS can be configured so that backup, restore, and auxiliary copy jobs will be spread among different MediaAgent, and thus the processor load for these jobs will occur on different machines.
