This tool will provide options for testing SCSI requests to a mount point, detecting HBA adapters, and executing snap options on a mount point (create, delete, revert, mount, unmount).
Special Note:
The SnapTest tool can be run from the Base directory of SnapBackup capable clients. The tool will take 2 command line arguments: "-vm" to specify the instance such as "Instance001" and "-cn" for the current client name.

 10. Snap backups to Clariion arrays fail when Powerpath is installed on the client. The Registry key SNAP_WITH_POWERPATH with value = 1 should be added under EVENTMANAGER.

11. Allow to perform SNAP Backup/Restore on JFS/JFS2 file systems with journaling device resides on another logical volume which resides on the same physical disk as the file system to be snapped.

12. Snap backup fails with the error: SYMAPI DB is locked by another process.

13. Symmetrix snap backup fails when multipath software is installed on client or proxy.

14. Clariion snap backups on Unix platforms may wrongly report success even on certain failure conditions.
