PrKB11906 : Migration from XBAS5V1.2 to XBAS5V3.1

In some circumstances the value of CLUSTER.dbversion is misconfigured, leading to a migration abortion.

How to check if your system is potentially affected:

• Your system was initially installed from bare metal with XBAS5V1.2
• The clusterdb rpm is clusterdb-20.4.1-b.6.Bull

• [root@sunsine0 tmp]# rpm -qa |grep -i clusterdb
  clusterdb-20.4.1-b.6.Bull

• the CLUSTER.dbversion value is "20.4.0"
• Use the phpPgAdmin interface to read that value

How to remedy

Before starting the migration set the CLUSTER.dbversion to "20.4.1", then run preUpgradeClusterdb.
