The bullx R424 E2, which integrates 4 2-way nodes within a 2U chassis is equipped with new-generation Intel® Xeon® processors. The bullx R424 E2 servers offer even more performance and increased energy efficiency. These cost-effective and ultra-dense servers are ideally sized to deliver the level of performance needed by power-hungry Extreme Computing applications.

The bullx R424 E2 system will be used as Compute Nodes in the extreme computing clusters. Each one of the four servers comprises:
