Configurable Properties

Once CDR is installed, you can change certain aspects of the configuration to manage the data in the manner that best suits your needs.

Log File Location

Specify a location for the log files on the source and destination machines. Refer to Replication Logs.

Operational Parameters (Throttling)

You can configure several throttling options for CDR. Refer to Throttling.

Application Integration

Applications supported by CDR can be quiesced during the SmartSync Scan phase and during creation of a Consistent Recovery Point. Refer to the following for more information:

User Security

You can perform the following functions:

• Identify the user groups to which this CommCell object is associated.
• Associate this object with a user group.
• Disassociate this object from a user group.

Version

The Version tab displays the software version and post-release service packs and updates installed for the component. See Version for an overview.

Fan-In Configuration

For CDR on Windows, data replication and Recovery Point options can be configured on the destination Agent Properties for all source Replication Sets. For more information, see Using ContinuousDataReplicator in a Fan-In Configuration.
