The SRM Server is installed on the same computer in which the CommServe is installed. This page contains information on recovering the SRM Server and the CommServe.

The SRM Server software stores metadata in the CommServe Database Engine and reports related information in the SQL Reporting Services. This metadata and data residing in the Reporting Services are automatically backed up when you perform a Disaster Recovery Backup. See Disaster Recovery Backup, for detailed information. For step-by-step instructions for performing a Disaster Recovery Backup, see Schedule a Disaster Recovery Backup or Start a Disaster Recovery Backup.

You can also rebuild the computer as follows:

SRM Agents Recovery
