Activity Qualifier Window

The Activity Qualifier Window is used to determine the day associated with the activities performed in each of the CommCells in the CommNet domain.

All statistics related reports are determined using this window.

This window is automatically determined by the system using the values established for the Data Protection Window in the Data Protection Window tab of the CommCell Configuration dialog box.

The time between the end time of the Data Protection Window in the previous day to the end time of the Data Protection Window in the specific day is assumed to be the Activity Qualifier Window for the day.

The following reports and summaries are calculated using the Activity Qualifier window:

• Data Protection Data Growth Report
• Billing Charge Back Report
• Data Protection Job Success Report
• Media Management Media Prediction Report
• Media Management Performance Report
• Data Recovery Job Success Report
• The following information in Library Summary:
  • Library Utilization and Media Consumption for Tape and Optical libraries (See Library Summary for more information.)
  • Library Utilization and Capacity Utilization for Magnetic libraries. (See Magnetic Library Summary for more information.)
• The Client Data Growth and Client Data Growth (Subclient) windows.
