Install

Review the information on the Configuring Kernel Parameters - Unix/Macintosh page, and click the link for Macintosh Kernel Parameters to determine the parameter values for the shared memory and semaphores within the system.

• For Macintosh File System, set up the Macintosh kernel to allow it to find any shared libraries required to run any dependent program or tools (e.g., NameChangeTool). To this end, run the /cvprofile script before running any such programs or tools.  For example:
  
  . /<software installation path>/Base/cvprofile
  
  This will set the DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH. If you do not run /cvprofile, you will encounter errors.
